Bio
Laura is currently an associate professor of Psychology at Anderson University, where she specializes in teaching introductory and advanced research courses. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from IUPUI, her M.S. in Cinical Rehabilitation Psychology from IUPUI, and her B.A. in Psychology from Anderson University. She completed a clinical internship at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System and a post-doctoral Psychosocial Rehabilitation fellowship at the San Diego VA Healthcare System.
While at IUPUI, she worked as a research assistant for the ACT Center of Indiana on various projects related to the recovery-orientation of ACT, phone-based and onsite fidelity of ACT programs, and an Illness Managment and Recovery study. Her current research focuses on attitudes of mental illness among clergy and clergy-in-training, with a particular focus on explicit and implicit stigma. She is also interested in program implementation and ongoing fidelity assessment.
